Nipper making an appearence meant it was high time my parents came to Thailand to say hello and have a poke about. They mainly stayed at the house in Suphan, but also took a few detours to some nice places I will blog about in time. Here is a nice shot of both families having a meal in the Riverside on the Chayo Praya in Bangkok (Aiden asleep under the camera). Cheers.

Very clever Ben. I see you got your dad sat at the head of the table which of course meant the bill.
The photo is one you don't normally associate with Thailand being a couple with both sets off parents. That's rare but sweet as well.
Couldn't help but notice in the mirror behind you all, your old man has a full set of hair. Too many more table placings like that and it might start going a touch grey and a little thin.

ha ha yes being hairy is a Shingleton trait - As for the bill, you know what its like Martyn, people from the UK are always shocked at the price of food in Thailand - a meal that would easily cost well over 100 pounds in England can cost as little as 20-30 pounds...
