Pic above: Aiden with Nanna. We have a new little companion to join us in our adventures. Aiden was born on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month 2009 (the remembrance day story made quite an impression with all the Thai's in the family, as you might expect.... And with us also).
Pic above: Aiden with Thai family, his great grandmother tieing a string around his wrist - inviting good luck, and passing on protection to him from the eldest member of the family to the youngest...

CONGRATS!!!! And welcome fellow scorpio. :)

Ben and Sutiya congratulations, what a date and time to arrive.
I wonder what the Thai relatives think about 11.11.11. Its an odd number so it is probably lucky!

Thanks Oakley. Justin, he'll be home to meet you and yours soon enough. Thank you Malcolm, he does look a little like me, mum done a super job and we're all very proud of her! When he is old enough we will pay a visit to Kanchanaburi. Mike, the 11.11.11 thing was explained to the Thai's by Aidens grandad, and it left them absolutely gobsmacked! It made me remember that us Westerners also have deep spiritual connections with the past...

See, if that was my kid people would say I'd timed it deliberately. Congratulations once again bennyboy

Ta Wotchit, 11.47 he popped out. Any later and it would have been 12th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.. Doesn't have the same ring does it.. To be honest I only realised myself when the old man told me.

Ben congratulations to you, the missus and the charming and beautifully looking young one. That is some day and hour to arrive in this world, perhaps a top gun pilot in the making. Best wishes to you all.
