Well done Catherine at Womenlearnthai.com. Very quick off the mark and eagle-eyed to spot what I perceived as quite a difficult challenge.
As Catherine stated in her answer, 'The
Elephant Building or Chang Building is one of the most famous buildings in Bangkok, located in the North Bangkok Business District and
Chatuchak district.
The building
has 32 floors and is 102 meters (335ft.) high, it was completed in
1997.'
(side view of the Elephant Building here) It is a pretty impressive piece of architecture, very distinctive. As I find more interesting Bangkok buildings, I will really put the Bangkok expat-experts to the test.
So as promised, the winner would win a nice Thai dish. Catherine, you stumped me big time; for some strange reason I thought a fella would have provided the winning answer....
More fool me eh. I was ready to award my 'male' prize winner one of my favourite Thai 'dishes', but after your win, I suppose I had better post up a more appropriate Thai dish, one more suited to 'a girly'.
Your Prize is ....................... Famous Thai actor Mario Maurer!!!
Good old handsome devil Mario got into fame and fortune to 'help his family out'. Arrrr. His big break came when he got the leading role in the film 'The Love of Siam'.
In the flick, he actually has a homosexual romance with Witwisit Hirunwongkul, another popular Thai actor. Mario said about the role; "I was nervous. I've never kissed a man, and kissing is not something you do every day."
Yeah... whatever Mario.
Anyway, well done Cat, he's all yours, courtesy of the Thai Pirate.
What will you do with him?

TP, your prizes are getting worse! And I'm still waiting for my ice tea!!

It's in the post.

Oh my. He is mighty young.
'What will you do with him?'
Take him out for an ice cream? A new pair of shoes? Dunno.
I'm not saying that I will win anything again - as luck would have it, I just happened to have a long and close relationship with the Elephant Building - but I prefer my Thai dishes to be experienced. Very.
Give me a bit of a craggy look, white brushes of hair along each side, smile wings etched in tight, a mischievous look of promise... you get the picture.

Do I want to ask Sutiya who the Thai version of Brad Pitt is.....?

'Gay Thai movies'
Hah! I knew I was missing something :-D
Smile wings are when a man has that fantastic personality where they smile a lot. And when they get older, the smile lines stay around even when they are not smiling.
It is the sign of a kind man. And often, a funny man. I like.
What are bingo wings?

The saggy bit under your arms (though I'm sure not your arms Cat). No I don't know why they are called that. Answers on a postcard anyone?
