Going back home to England for a spell, British Summer, family, friends, familiar food and a few nights in the pub. Can't wait. I leave an embedded video of a favourite song of mine, one that reminds me of Thailand, 'Life in Technicolor', by Coldplay.
The instrument at the beginning I believe may be a Thai string instrument called a 'Kim', but I don't know what it's called in the West; whenever I hear this song, I'm usually belting down the Highways somewhere in the depths of Thailand.
Enjoy. All the best, TTP

'British Summer'
:-D
I know you'll have a great time in the UK with family and friends.
Oh! And have some proper fish and chips for me, ok?
And a Snickers too. Please take a bite out of a Snickers bar for me.
The UK makes the BEST EVER Snickers in the whole wide world. Honest.
The magic ingredient is Devon milk :-)
When I was there this last April/May, I fell in love with a small community in South Cadbury.
Tempting. Very.

Only thing is - it's 8 degrees in sunny Essex this morning.
Bring us some sunshine please!

Like the video. Especially the dad with the camcorder who says 'F**king Hell!'. And the exploding drummer. Very Spinal Tap.

Enjoy the clouds and rain ;-)
A few hour ago my wife got her 2 year visa to stay in the UK, its like winning the lottery as we now have somewhere stable, but bloody cold, to start our future.

Thanks Catherine, will have a celebration snickers in your honour ;)
Very cloudy this morning, but enjoying it regardless. Congrats Lloyd, we were awarded our first 2 yr leave to remain nearly 3 yrs ago and again just recently, once you have it sorted the first time it gets easier in my experience, but always a massive pain in the ar*e. The elation once its over! you feel like hugging them for charging you 500 quid. Incredible.
